We make software that works for the person using it.
Krodium is made by Svayam Incarnation Limited, the company behind Viremail, the private email service. We wanted a browser with the same attitude: useful, calm and on your side.
01Why a browser
The browser is where work happens.
Mail, documents, calls, accounts and payments all run in a browser now. Yet most browsers are built by companies whose business depends on knowing what you do online. We think the most-used piece of software on a computer should have no interest in that.
Krodium runs on the Krodium Engine, with years of rendering and security work behind it. On top we add what we think a browser for work should have: a home screen of the apps you use, a built-in anti-tracker, a media player that stays out of the way, and no telemetry at all.

02Principles
Three things we will not trade.
Private by design
Nothing to report.
No telemetry and no crash reports. We would rather not know about your browsing than promise to look after it.
Honest about progress
Coming means coming.
Krodium is young. We say what works and what does not yet, and we never invent figures, quotes or praise.
Calm
Quiet by default.
No news feed, no sponsored tiles, no prompts from other companies. The browser should never compete with your work.
