Cookie policy
krodium.com uses only what is strictly necessary. No advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
Last updated 8 October 2026This document is under legal review.
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage used on krodium.com, which is run by Svayam Incarnation Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. It sits alongside our Privacy policy (krodium.com/privacy).
Our approach
We use only cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide something you have asked for, such as staying signed in, or to remember a choice you made on the site. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) these do not need consent, so we do not show a cookie banner. We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party scripts on our pages.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __Host-krodium_session | Keeps you signed in after you sign in with Viremail. It holds a random value; we store only a hash of it. Set only if you sign in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. | Up to 14 days, or until you sign out. |
| __Host-krodium_signin | Protects the sign-in process against forgery by linking the request you started with the reply from Viremail. Set only when you choose to sign in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. | 10 minutes, removed when sign-in finishes. |
Storage in your browser
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| krodium-theme (local storage) | Remembers whether you chose Light or Dark with the switch in the site header. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us. | Until you clear it or choose again. |
Our network provider
Cloudflare, which protects and delivers krodium.com, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) when it needs to tell people apart from automated attacks. These are not used for tracking.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you can still read the site and download Krodium, but you will not be able to sign in.
Cookies in the Krodium browser
This policy covers krodium.com. In the Krodium browser, the websites you visit set their own cookies. Krodium blocks known cross-site tracking cookies by default, Kraken blocks more, and you can see and clear cookies at any time in Settings, under Privacy and Security.
Changes
If we add a cookie, we will list it here first. Questions: [email protected].
