Help build a browser that leaves people alone.
Krodium is a whole browser, its own engine, a store and a developer platform, built by a small team that cares about getting the details right. If that sounds like work you would enjoy, we would like to hear from you.
01Why Krodium
Work where privacy is the product.
Most software is shaped by dashboards of what its users do. Krodium sends no telemetry, so we cannot work that way, and we would not want to. We learn by using what we build, by reading what people write to us, and by thinking hard about what a browser should and should not do.
The work is broad. The same small team has shipped a browser, a built-in anti-tracker and a new home screen, and is now building a store and a developer programme. You will see what you make reach people quickly.

02How we work
Small teams, written thinking, calm pace.
Remote-friendly
London-based, not London-bound.
The company is based in London. We work well with people elsewhere, and arrange our days around overlapping hours rather than a fixed desk.
Written first
Decisions you can read.
Plans, reviews and decisions are written down, so people in other places and other hours can take part properly.
Ownership
Own a whole area.
Teams are small and each owns its part of Krodium from idea to release notes, including telling people honestly what is not ready.
03Values
What we hold ourselves to.
Leave people alone.
We collect nothing we do not need. When a feature would need to watch people, we find another way or we do not build it.
Say what is true.
We label what is coming as coming. We do not invent figures, quotes or praise, in the product or about it.
Make it calm.
A browser is open all day. It should be quiet, quick and clear, and never compete for attention.
Finish the details.
The small things are the product: the wording of a setting, the spacing of a menu, the speed of a new tab.
Be kind in writing.
Most of our work happens in text. We write to each other, and to the people who use Krodium, with care.
04Teams
The teams we hire for.
We do not list job adverts with fixed titles. These are the areas we are building, and we hire into them when we find the right person. Tell us where you would fit.
