Open-source licences
Krodium is built on open-source software. These are the licences that apply, and how to get the source code.

Krodium is made by Svayam Incarnation Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We are grateful to the many people whose open-source work Krodium builds on.
The Krodium Engine
The Krodium Engine is built from the Firefox source code, which is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0), www.mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/. Files we change stay under the MPL 2.0, and their source code is available to you under that licence.
Firefox is a trademark of the Mozilla Foundation. Krodium is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mozilla, and Firefox and Mozilla names and logos are not used as part of Krodium.
Kraken
The blocking engine in Kraken is uBlock Origin, by Raymond Hill and contributors, released under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3). It ships with Krodium, unmodified, and its source code is available at github.com/gorhill/uBlock. The filter lists Kraken downloads are published by their own maintainers under their own licences.
Krodium Safe Browsing builds its phishing and malware list from openly licensed threat data: the Phishing.Database project by Mitchell Krog and contributors (MIT licence, github.com/Phishing-Database/Phishing.Database), the ShadowWhisperer BlockLists (Unlicense, github.com/ShadowWhisperer/BlockLists) and the Scam Blocklist by durablenapkin (MIT licence, github.com/durablenapkin/scamblocklist). Copyright notices for the MIT-licensed data are kept with the list builder. We thank their maintainers.
Profile pictures
The profile pictures offered in Krodium are from the Notionists avatar style by Zoish, released under Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain), and were drawn with DiceBear, whose code is licensed under the MIT licence. No attribution is required; we give it as a courtesy.
Fonts
krodium.com uses the Geist, Geist Mono and Newsreader typefaces, served from our own site, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Fonts shipped with the engine are under their own licences, listed in the browser.
Other components
The engine includes many other open-source components, each under its own licence, including the BSD, MIT, Apache 2.0 and LGPL licences. To read the full list of licences and notices, open Krodium and type about:license in the address bar.
Getting the source code
The source code for the parts of Krodium covered by the MPL 2.0 and the GPLv3, including our changes, is published in our open-source repository. To request the source for the exact version you are running, write to [email protected] with the version number (Krodium menu, About Krodium). We will provide it free of charge, or for no more than the cost of supplying it, for at least three years after we distributed that version.
Our name and artwork
The Krodium name, Kraken, the Krodium icon, the Kro mascot and our other artwork are not covered by these open-source licences. See the Terms of use (krodium.com/terms).
