Krodium Store terms

The terms for finding, downloading and, when it opens, buying extensions, web apps and desktop apps in the Krodium Store.

Last updated 8 October 2026This document is under legal review.

1. About the Store

The Krodium Store is a catalogue of extensions, web apps and desktop apps ("items") run by Svayam Incarnation Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Store, on krodium.com or inside our products. They add to our Terms of use (krodium.com/terms) and Acceptable use policy (krodium.com/acceptable-use).

Unless a listing says it is made by Krodium, each item is made and provided by an independent developer ("the developer"), who is responsible for it. The developer's own licence terms and privacy policy, linked from the listing, apply to your use of the item.

2. Review

Every developer is verified, and every listing and new version is reviewed before it appears. Review checks for malware, deceptive behaviour and breaches of our rules, and that the listing describes the item honestly. Review reduces risk, but it is not a guarantee that an item is free of faults, safe in every situation or suitable for your needs. Check the permissions an item asks for before you install it.

3. Free items

Free items cost nothing to download. Installing one gives you the licence the developer offers. You can remove an item at any time.

4. Paid items

Paid items show a price but cannot be bought yet. Before paid sales open, we will update these terms with full details, including who sells the item to you, payment, tax and invoices. In summary, we intend that:

  • prices will be shown with any VAT or sales tax included where the law requires, before you pay;
  • you will receive a receipt and, for business purchases, an invoice;
  • subscriptions will say clearly how often you pay, how to cancel, and what happens at the end of a free trial;
  • a purchase will be linked to your account so it follows you to your devices.

5. Refunds and your right to cancel

When paid sales open, if you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union you will normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. If you ask for the item to be supplied straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once supply starts, the right to cancel ends when the download begins. Even then, you will be able to ask for a refund within 48 hours of any purchase, for any reason, and faulty items or items not as described will be dealt with as the law requires. Developers may offer more generous refunds. None of this affects your legal rights.

6. Ratings and reviews

Ratings and reviews are coming. When they open, only people who have installed an item will be able to review it, and reviews must be honest, about the item, and follow the Acceptable use policy. Developers will be able to reply. We may remove reviews that are fake, paid for, offensive, off-topic or that contain personal data, and developers may not buy, swap or reward reviews.

7. When an item is removed

A developer may withdraw an item, and we may suspend or remove one that breaks our rules, puts people at risk, or must be removed by law. Where an item is harmful, for example because it contains malware, we may switch it off on devices where it is already installed, and we will tell you why. If a paid item you bought is removed because of a problem with it, you will be offered a refund or another remedy as the law requires. Removing an item from the Store does not delete your own data.

8. Reporting a problem

To report an item that is harmful, misleading or infringes your rights, email [email protected] with a link to the listing. For a problem with how an item works, contact its developer using the support link on its listing.

9. Our responsibility

We are responsible for the Store and for items we make. Developers are responsible for their own items. Our liability is as set out in the Terms of use (krodium.com/terms), and nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer.
