Every Krodium download has a SHA-256 checksum, a long string of letters and numbers that identifies the file exactly. It is shown on the Download page at krodium.com/download. If your file produces the same string, it is complete and untouched.
- Open Terminal from Applications, then Utilities.
- Type shasum -a 256 followed by a space, then drag the downloaded .dmg file into the Terminal window. Its path appears.
- Press Return.
- Compare the string that appears with the one on the Download page. Every character should match.
If they differ, delete the file and download it again from krodium.com/download. If they still differ, write to [email protected].
