Getting started

Install Krodium on Mac

Download Krodium and move it into your Applications folder.

Krodium is free. You do not need an account to use it. The current version is 0.8, for Macs with Apple silicon (M1 and later) running macOS 10.15 or later, for Windows 10 and 11, and for 64-bit Linux. Download it from krodium.com/download.

  1. Go to krodium.com/download and choose Download for Mac. A disk image ending in .dmg is saved to your Downloads folder.
  2. Open the file. A window appears with the Krodium icon and your Applications folder.
  3. Drag Krodium onto Applications and wait for the copy to finish.
  4. Eject the Krodium disk image from the Finder sidebar. You can then delete the downloaded file.
  5. Open Krodium from Applications or Launchpad. The first time, read First open on macOS (krodium.com/help/first-open-on-macos).

To check that your download is complete and untouched, see Check your download (krodium.com/help/check-your-download).

If your Mac has an Intel processor, Krodium will not open yet. See Troubleshooting (krodium.com/help/troubleshooting).
