Getting started

Install Krodium on Windows

Download the installer and run it.

Krodium is free, and you do not need an account to use it. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.

  1. Go to krodium.com/download and choose the installer for Windows. A setup file is saved to your Downloads folder.
  2. Open the setup file and follow the steps.
  3. If Windows SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows warns about it. This is expected.
  4. Open Krodium from the Start menu. A short introduction to Kraken appears the first time.
