HTTPS-only mode

Krodium warns you before loading a site that is not secure.

HTTPS keeps what you send to a site private from others on the network. HTTPS-only mode is on by default in Krodium.

If a site only offers an insecure connection, Krodium shows a warning before loading it. You then choose.

  • Go back, which is the safest choice.
  • Continue to the site for this visit.
  • Add an exception for the site, if you trust it and visit it often, such as a device on your home network.

Never enter passwords or card details on a page that warns it is not secure.

HTTPS-only mode can be changed in Settings, under Privacy and Security.
