Safe Browsing
Krodium's own protection against phishing and malware sites.
Krodium Safe Browsing warns you before you open a known phishing or malware site. It is Krodium's own protection, it is on by default, and it does not use Google's service.
How it works
- Every hour, Krodium downloads a list of known phishing and malware sites from krodium.com.
- The list is built only from openly licensed threat feeds, and it is signed so it cannot be tampered with on the way to you.
- Every address is checked on your device. Nothing about the sites you visit is sent anywhere.
The warning page
If a page is on the list, Krodium shows its own warning instead of the page. Choose Go back to safety, which is the safest choice.
If you are sure the site is safe, choose Advanced, then continue. Krodium lets you through for that site until you quit Krodium. The warning comes back next time.
Report a site or a mistake
If a dangerous site was not caught, or a safe site was blocked by mistake, write to [email protected] with the address.
No list catches everything. Take care with links you did not expect, even when there is no warning.
